Program Overview

Designed for children becoming more independent and expressive, this program builds confidence, communication, and social skills to prepare toddlers for the next stage of learning.

Key Development Areas

  • Physical & Motor Skills: Focuses on building strength, control, and balance through safe, guided indoor and outdoor activities like running, climbing, and jumping.

  • Structure & Routines: Uses predictable daily schedules (e.g., circle time, play, rest) to help children feel secure, build independence, and learn early responsibility.

  • Curiosity & Cognitive Growth: Encourages questions and hands-on exploration of concepts like colors, shapes, patterns, numbers, and nature.

  • Language & Literacy: Expands vocabulary and communication through stories, songs, and pretend play, while introducing early literacy skills like handling books and retelling stories.

  • Social & Emotional Skills: Teaches cooperation, sharing, and self-control, helping children transition from playing near others to forming early friendships.

Toddlers Program — 18 to 36 Months

Goals and Milestones We Strive For

We support older toddlers as they develop motor control to walk, run, climb, and explore safely. We help them anticipate daily routines, ask questions, name basic shapes and colors, identify patterns, and count in order from one to ten. We encourage them to turn pages of a book correctly, retell familiar stories from memory, use more complex and descriptive language, show interest in peers, and join others in play.
