Pre-K3 Program — 36 to 48 Months

Our Pre-K3 program is designed to help children grow in independence, confidence, communication, creativity, and school readiness. At this age, children are becoming more aware of themselves, their choices, their feelings, and their ability to learn new things.

In Pre-K3, children begin to follow multi-step directions, participate in group activities, and take part in more structured learning experiences. We help them build listening skills, attention span, self-control, and responsibility through daily routines, classroom jobs, guided lessons, and hands-on activities.

Children at this stage are also growing in early math skills. They learn to count in order from one to thirty, sort items by size, shape, color, and texture, compare objects, measure simple items, and recognize patterns. These skills are taught through playful activities using blocks, manipulatives, food items, nature materials, art supplies, and real classroom experiences.

Language and literacy are important parts of our Pre-K3 program. Children learn to recognize their name, identify letters in and out of order, attempt to write their name, select preferred books, use pictures to tell stories in sequence, and build early reading confidence. We encourage children to speak clearly, ask questions, describe their ideas, and use words to solve problems.

Social and emotional development is also a major focus. Children learn how to manage emotions, develop self-control, understand consequences, make choices, take turns, solve conflicts with support, and show kindness to others. We teach children that their choices matter and that they can learn from mistakes in a loving and safe environment.

Self-care skills are gently encouraged. Children practice using the restroom with supervision, washing hands, cleaning up, caring for materials, and participating in simple routines that build independence and responsibility.

Creativity is also celebrated in Pre-K3. Children express themselves through music, movement, visual arts, dramatic play, storytelling, building, and creative exploration. They also participate in simple scientific investigations where they observe, ask questions, make predictions, and discover new ideas.

Our goal is to help every Pre-K3 child become more confident, curious, responsible, creative, and prepared for the next level of learning.
